A bit of a ‘heads up’ for those who are planning to drive to their music lessons in January and February: roadworks are taking place in Skipton for 4 weeks. This involves a closure at Swadford Street (near Bizzy Lizzie’s Fish & Chip shop), and is causing extensive congestion coming through town.
If you are driving to my house from South or East of Skipton, I would strongly advise that you avoid the town centre and instead go around one of the ring roads (A59 or A65).
