The Lower 6th: It’s Going to be a Covid Christmas Without You
I consider it to be possibly the best thing about our choir that it has initiated some beautiful friendships. Members of Carleton Ladies who had never met before joining the group now consider themselves the best of friends and, in some cases, even go on holidays together. Plus, the companionship that some of the ladies have found in one another has also produced some fantastic musical collaborations. This is one such example: ‘The Lower 6th’ is a group of friends from the alto section of the choir who have a tendency to take popular tunes and alter the lyrics. This one is a classic Christmas song brought right up to date for Xmas 2020!
