Christmas Holiday Dates This year, I am keeping things simple and aligning my Christmas holiday plans with the school Christmas holidays across the region. Within hours of the beginning of the first lockdown, music teachers up and down the country collectively came to realise something important about video conferencing technology: that there’s a delay / latency over the line that makes playing music live over Zoom, Microsoft Team, Skype etc pretty much impossible. I don’t think I need to tell anyone that the UK has gone back into lockdown, and that all non-essential customer facing companies have had to either close or shift to online services only.
